Sweet soil or sweet sand???
So if you've been gardening for sometime you must have heard about sweet soil aka sweet sand. Wait. They are the same thing? I thought so. Didn't you? Well it turns out the two terms are used interchangbly but in reality refer to totally different things. Read this article to find out more about the difference and what each is.

Where can I get sweet sand ? Any garden shops like al warsan ? or is it just the sand we can collect in the desert ?
ReplyDeleteYou can buy from Warsan. If you need a lot then order from RAK (a big truck will cost around 600-700).

The difference was that sweet sand is sand from the desert, usually from RAK as the sand there doesn’t have that much salt, it also looks red. Sweet soil on the other hand come from dried wadi beds, so is a totally different story. Sand from wadis is a limited resource and taking too much will cause imbalance in the ecosystem.
