  1. Hi there ,Very colorful and soothing , we planted a few pots of herbs and tulips but keeping the rest of simple gardening on hold for now ..have some stuff to take care of..Anyway asked family to get me more pots from pan emirates or home center from clearance or marked down prices as warsan seems to have gone crazy at times and ace hardware and garden center is quite expensive for big ones as i used to shop there for a long time before recently moving to warsan...SO they got me 4 fairly small wooden ( sort of designer style not durable) plastic sheet inside no holes pots from pan emirates at 400 dhs LOL...guess i have to hunt on my own ...you mentioned a few places to buy large /all size and design clay pots on the cheap can you name them again and what time of year do they have sales .
Also they got from warsan potting soil a big bag with all the 3 components you guys talked about but it was expensive . Anywhere to get it fairly cheaper.

    1. Hello there, I got some really affordable pots from Homes r Us, they also have sale now (I believe). For potting soil I mix my own. I usually mix (roughly in equal parts, can change the ratios of you like): perlite, compost (or basic potting soil), coco peat (can also use peat moss), and sand. I add Sustane fertilizer (around a small cup per 10 liters of soil). If you need a lot (I usually order over 15 bags of soil and a few big bags of coco peat) it's worth ordering compost/potting soil and peat moss from Shalimar. Sand I have in my yard (ordered sweet sand truck load a couple of years ago for my garden), you can get it from Warsan (I don't always add it by the way). Perlite is around 35 per 100 liters from Warsan. All of these are also available from mygreenchapter.com and they will deliver for small fee (they also have promotions all the time and free shipping, so if you add an item that has free shipping then the rest of the order will be free shipping).

    2. Also, if you need a lot of perlite then order from Gulf Perlite directly, they will deliver. Get the hydro perlite, it's cheaper (25 aed) and helps with water absorption.

  2. Guess i will buy all the soil components separately then as it is cheaper than the fancy imported all in one bags. All the above mentioned home stores dont have any significant sales or clearances at the moment on bigger items so guess need to check every now and then .My assumption is in cooler months there wont be good sales , beginning of hot season maybe. Thanks for the prompt reply .
